What this page covers
This describes what this website collects and what happens to it. It is not the policy that covers your health record, which is a separate matter and is dealt with further down.
What the site collects on its own
Nothing. There is no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, no cookies set by this site, and nothing to log in to. Reading these pages does not identify you.
The Ask the office panel
Four common questions are answered in the panel itself and send nothing anywhere. If you type your own question and choose to send it, the panel asks for your name and an email address so the office can reply. Your name, your email address and what you typed are then sent to the office by email.
The website keeps no copy. There is no database behind it and nothing is written to a log, so the email in the office mailbox is the only record that the message existed.
Please do not include health information
Email is not a secure or private channel, and the panel is not monitored. It is there for practical questions: hours, where to park, what to bring. For anything about your health, your symptoms, your results or your appointment, telephone the office at 306-518-9081 instead.
Where a message goes before it arrives
Messages are delivered by Resend, an email service acting on behalf of the clinic. Its servers are in the United States, so a message sent through the panel is processed outside Canada before it reaches the office mailbox, and may be subject to the laws of that country. The office mailbox is an ordinary email account held by the clinic.
How long it is kept
By this website, not at all. Once the email has been sent the website has nothing left to keep. What happens to the message after that is governed by the practice and its own records handling, not by this site.
Your health record
Uptown Medical Specialists holds personal health information as a trustee under The Health Information Protection Act. That covers your chart, your results and your correspondence with the clinic, and it is separate from anything on this website.
To see your record, correct it, ask how it has been used, or raise a concern, contact the office at 306-518-9081 or in person at Suite 201, 1260 Baltzan Blvd. If you are not satisfied with the answer, you may take the matter to the Saskatchewan Information and Privacy Commissioner.
Changes to this page
This describes the site as it stands on 28 August 2026. If what the site collects changes, this page changes with it.
